This Privacy Policy describes how Quattr Inc. ("Quattr", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information about you when you visit www.quattr.com (the "Site"), use the Quattr platform, or connect to it through the Quattr AI Visibility plugin, our MCP server and our other integrations (together with the Site, the "Services"). "Personal Information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Your use of the Quattr platform is also governed by our Terms of Use and, if you have one, your signed agreement with Quattr.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo, sign up for a free tool, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, email address, company name, job title, company size, website and how you heard about us, and any message you write. When you create an account, we collect the information needed to set it up and sign you in.
Information collected when you use the Site. We and the service providers we use collect your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit and the actions you take, using cookies and similar technologies. We use analytics and session recording services to understand how the Site is used. Session recording captures how pages are used during a visit, such as clicks, scrolling and navigation, so that we can find and fix problems. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use.
Information from connected services. When you connect the Quattr platform to a third-party account, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, BigQuery or a content management system, we access the data that account makes available, within the permissions you grant, to provide the Services.
Information from AI assistants. If you connect an AI assistant to Quattr, we receive your sign-in email address and the inputs of each tool call the assistant makes. The next section explains what the tools receive and return, what we record and how long we keep it.
Usage data. We collect system and usage data about how the Quattr platform is used, to operate and improve it.
The Quattr AI Visibility Plugin and MCP Server
You can connect Quattr to an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or Codex, through the Quattr AI Visibility plugin or our MCP server at mcp.quattr.com. Connecting is optional, and you start it.
Sign-in and access. You sign in with your Quattr account through our identity provider. We receive your email address and use it to find your Quattr account and the data you are permitted to see. The connection uses OAuth and is limited to the permissions you approve when you connect. An assistant cannot see more than the person who authorized it can see in Quattr.
What the tools receive. When you ask a question, your assistant decides which Quattr tools to call and sends their inputs to our server. Inputs can include the question you asked, date ranges, filters and segments, keywords, page URLs, competitor domains, the AI prompts you track, and identifiers for dashboards and reports. Any text you type into a question is sent as written.
What the tools return. Results are aggregate metrics from the data sources connected to your Quattr account, such as search performance, web analytics, advertising, search market share against the competitors you track, visibility in AI answer engines, and site performance. Results do not include records about individual visitors to your website. Results are returned to your AI assistant, and from then on they are handled under that assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy, such as OpenAI's for ChatGPT or Anthropic's for Claude.
What we record, and why. For each tool call we record information about the call, such as the tool used, the time and whether it succeeded, together with the call's inputs. We use this record for security, auditing, debugging and support. We also record tool calls in our product analytics service, linked to your account, together with the call's inputs and the text of your question, with any email addresses removed. We use these records to understand how the plugin is used and to improve how it chooses the right analysis for a question, including by reviewing real questions to test that choice.
AI models. Our server may send your question to a third-party AI model provider to help choose the analysis that answers it.
Ending the connection. You can remove the Quattr connector in your assistant's settings at any time. Access granted to an assistant expires automatically unless the assistant renews it. To have us end a connection sooner, write to privacy@quattr.com.
How We Use Information
Personal Information is used by Quattr for the purpose for which it was submitted. For example, if you submit your email address and other information required to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use that Personal Information to send you our newsletter. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the Site.
We use data from connected services and AI clients to provide the analyses, recommendations and content you ask for.
From time to time, Quattr may send notifications over email and Slack to customers who are subscribed to these notifications.
AI Processing
We do not use your questions, tool inputs or tool outputs to train AI models. Any other use of customer data to develop or improve the Quattr platform is governed by your agreement with Quattr. To produce analyses and content, the Quattr platform uses AI models, including models provided by third parties, which process the data needed for each request. Results you request through an AI client are returned to that client, and are then handled under its provider's own terms and policies.
How We Share Information
We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use service providers to host and operate the Services. These providers receive information about your use of the Site or the Services as part of providing their services to us:
- hosting, storage and infrastructure providers;
- identity and sign-in providers;
- data processing, warehousing and reporting providers;
- product analytics providers;
- AI model providers, which process the data needed to produce analyses and content and to choose the analysis that answers a question;
- for the Site, providers of analytics, session recording, chat, forms, scheduling and spam protection.

When you use Quattr through an AI assistant, the results of your requests go to that assistant's provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, as described above.
Cookies
Cookies are small data files that are stored on an Internet user's computer by a web server. Cookies contain user information such as login ID and allow us to recognize your browser preferences.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Our Cookie Policy describes the cookies we use and what each one is for.
Retention
We keep Personal Information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as long as the law requires. For the plugin and MCP server, tool call records and product analytics events, including the text of questions, are kept for up to 12 months.
Retention of platform data, query results and generated artifacts is governed by your agreement with Quattr. For details, write to privacy@quattr.com.
Third Parties & Links
Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of quattr.com. If you submit personal information to any of those websites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
Security
Quattr takes reasonable measures to help protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received. If you have any questions about the security of your personal information, you can contact us at privacy@quattr.com.
AI assistant connections use OAuth and are limited to the permissions you approve when you connect.
Your Choices and Rights
Our Site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners. You can always opt-out from receiving emails from us.
You can remove an AI assistant's connection to Quattr at any time, as described above. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your Personal Information by writing to privacy@quattr.com.
Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request and to any other third party without your prior consent to do so.
If Quattr is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Notification of Changes
We may update this privacy statement to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
Trademark Notice
"Quattr", and any other product or service names, slogans, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons and scripts contained in the Services, except as otherwise noted, are trademarks or trade dress of Quattr. Quattr's trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Quattr's, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Quattr.
Consent
By using this Site, you consent to the use, storage and disclosure of your Personal Information by us in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time and will alert you to such changes via the Notification procedure described in the preceding paragraph.
